Hello friends, it's me again. I made several progress with the VHDL and
i can think pretty better in terms of coding even thanks to you. I think
i finished my project (motor control with PWM and PI). Anyway, i coded
the PWM and the PI in 2 different files and simulated them (all works
😎). When i was about to link them, like a testbench you do for GTKWave,
i frooze. How do i make to comunicate and link 2 files and simulate with
Model Sim? Should i use the COMPONENT statement? Should i put the two
entities in the same file?
I hope that i made clear my doubt. Thank you guys in advance, have a
nice day

How can you simulate without testbench?
Please show us your testbench!

Here is mine (but only for mia_pi.vhd)...

First of all, that simulation is SICK! How did you get such a cool
waves?
By the way, i don't have a testbench yet because i simulated the single
entities by forcing the values in Model Sim. Before coding a TB i will
try to use the component statement since i made an experiment earlier
and it worked.
In conclusion for now, Mr Rick, do you think that this PI is good? I
just made it from nothing, i am a newbie in the VHDL world.
I will update you
