It seems not (yet) being official announced by STM, but I've just discovered that the actual STM32 CubeMX V5.0.1 package contains an installer for Linux... https://www.st.com/en/ecosystems/stm32cube.html#overview ...and it works!
Jetzt brauchts nur noch das Atollic-Studio für Linux, dann sehe ich mir vielleicht mal die STM32 an. Bei Microchip gibts das nämlich schon "etwas" länger. Für Linux-Laien wie mich war das immer der Grund, PIC32 zu verwenden. Es läuft einfach nativ, ohne Gefrickel und Kommandozeile...

CubeMX even worked on Linux before, since it is just a Java application that could be manually unpacked and started. It is even mentioned on https://www.mikrocontroller.net/articles/STM32#STM32CubeMX

Ok, I wasn't aware of this.
I wasn't happy with the AC6-SW4STM32 package. But now with CubeMX +
Atollic TrueStudio 2 there is really a great and seamless working bundle
for STM32 on Linux available!
Everything is based on Java as far as I know. I never tried, but it should all work using linux.
