hi,

I'm currently using the cyclone ii (ep2c20f484c7) fpga, and i want to do
the active serial programming.
i configure the device for active serial programming as the following
way

mode: Active Serial Programming
Device: EPCS16 (But it should be EPCS4 nah?)
when i change the device from EPCS16 to EPCS4 and adding the .pof file
it is not uploading to the eeprom.

Is the FPGA configured correctly for AS mode? Check how the MSEL pins
are configured.

Do you have a link to the schematic of your board?
The configuration options are usally some pins on the fpga device.

So simply look for the MSEL Pins in the schematics...

Both MSEL pins are hardwired to GND that means: AS mode.

The MSEL pins are both connected with GND.
Look at the chip documents to see what that means.

which means i can do the active serial programming without configuring
the msel pin, because it is already connected to ground.
