No it means algorithmic state design machine

Sounds to me like you want a FSM (finite state machine). So, its easy.
My microwave oven has two inputs: a start button and a stop button. 
And it has one output: the microwave tube. And as a result i have 2 
states: STOP and GO. The two buttons switch between the two states. 
Thats all.
