Hi!

I want to know how to connect a fpga 'ALTERA' with a pc. In other words,
did I need specific cables for the connexion? and what type of cable did
I need?

Thanks

Do you want to program the FPGA (then you need a JTAG adapter), or do
you want to transfer data?

hi!
Thanks fpgakuechle for the address;
I have some other questions..
In effect I am beginner in the domain of FPGA and want to learn how to
program it. As I have knwon I need a JTAG adapter to connect the pc with
the fpga then I need to do the different software steps (the Altera VHDL
Programming Procedure as explained in the attached file)
Is it as simple? or there are other details that I do not know?
and concerning the transfer of data(picture in my case)did I need other
type of cable different than the JTAG adapter?
