Self-Inductance calculation

Dear all,

I would like to calculate the self-inductance of a circular multilayer 
and multi-turn coil. Unfortunately, I don´t understand the entire 
equation.

The equation is attached.  I am sure when I need the second term (mutual 
inductance), what "j" means, and how I can calculate the formula.
