just started with active hdl and having this error ?

i have used the attached code and compiled it successfully, but whenever 
i simulate the top level module the following error appears :
# KERNEL: Error: E8005 : Kernel process initialization failed.
# Error: Fatal error occurred during simulation initialization.
why does this happen ?
