looking for help

Hello every one,
I am using FTD3S2P22-01 driver for a 3 phase hybrid KT56QM1-551 stepping 
motor. It just needs two signals from the TMS320F2833 micro-controller. 
one of these is to control the direction  and the second one is a pulse 
which is to control all the other parameters of the motor controller. 
I couldn't figure out the characteristics of the pulse to be generated 
to control all those parameters. Note that there is a position sensor 
mounted to the  TMS320F28335 micro-controller and Pulse width modulation 
method is used. would you help me please? Here I attached the datasheet
