Hi! For an upcoming project, I need to read several I2S slaves. It would be great to have a hardware solution that does not require programming. So, does anybody know an Interface card or USB device, that would allow me to read 6-8 I2S slaves with 32 bit at 48kHz in parallel? Many thanks, Axel
These are the two solutions I know of: * XMOS (software implementation, open source, 2-40 channels): http://www.xmos.com/products/reference-designs/multichannel * RigiSystems (32 channels): http://www.rigisystems.net/index.php/usb-audio-development-kit.html
Great! Many thanks, the RigiSystems USBPal device may be a solution. I am not sure if 32 bit I2S is supported, but I will ask them. The XMOS sees to have only analog audio connections. I also found one by MiniDsp but this does have only 8 channels and no documentation: http://www.minidsp.com/products/usb-audio-interface/usbstreamer Regards, Axel

This is just the eval board, there are other boards based on the XMOS reference design, e.g., MiniDSP. > I also found one by MiniDsp but this does have only 8 channels and no > documentation: There is a link to the user manual right on the page.
