Modularly composed BMS - looking for good ICs

Hello,

I would like to build a battery management system which can be easily 
expanded from e.g. 8 to 160 cells.

should work like. But too bad I can neither buy EL02 nor 
http://elithion.com/pdf/el01.pdf .

Can someone suggest another chip?

I looked also into http://www.linear.com/product/LTC6802-2 but there is 
no way i can solder this accurate
