STM32 Virtual COM Port driver

We face the following situation:
The current VCP driver available from ST (VCP_V1.3.1_Setup.exe) does not 
work when the host is based on Windows 2000 - install procedure is 
ending up with an error message. No problems when the host is based on 
Windows XP.
The driver (inf-file) described at:
http://www.mikrocontroller.net/articles/STM32_USB-FS-Device_Lib
and available at:
http://www.mikrocontroller.net/articles/Datei:Stmcdc.inf
works fine when the host is based on Windows 2000, but we can not find 
this inf-file on the ST web-pages.

Any ideas where to find?
Does anybody share the same experiences?
