Embedded C on PFGA

Hi everybody, i have a C++ code, i have to convert it to Embedded C and then to implement it on an FPGA card, i already use embedded C with microcontrollers. i have no idea how to begin with the FPGA :( Can any one show me how to start my task and thanks :)

which fpga? xilixn altera? use the standard cores like microblaze or nios and then implement your code on this paltform...or try this..http://opencores.org/
