Hi,

I have a question about the CAN Transceivers. Is it correct, that a CAN 
Transceiver can either be a LOW Speed or a High Speed Transceiver? Are 
there any Transceivers which supports High and Low - Speed CAN?

Yes, you are correct.

The PCA82C251 supports both low- & high speed.

I'm using the LM3S9B96 and it has the SN65HVD1050 CAN Transceiver on it. 
How can I figure out whether it is High Speed or Low Speed?
