DBGACK set, but the target did not end up in the halted stat

Hi,
trying to debug a 7S256-system, first flashing it. Getting the result
below. Can this be the reason the debugging initializing stops at
"continue" and the very irritating "27% loaded..."
Why, oh why...?
Can anybody give me a hint, please?
