benchmarking ARM9 and ARM11

hello everyone!

I hope you can give some aid respectively benchmarking embedded systems.
I am looking for software tools for evaluating and comparing the
performance of ARM9 (proprietary bord) and ARM11. The required
benchmarking tools should particularily be able to test energy and
performance efficiency for multimedia applications.(starting with GIFs
->anim GIF --> flash animat --> videos ( different formats like
MPEG,...)

I am new here and not yet a expert ( as you can see ... but I am
learning)
