gud day,. is there anyone who try the laplacian of gaussian edge 
detection to implement in fpga?? plssss., help,. i dont know how to get 
the mask i need for the laplacian,.

I never had heard that expression, but here is a Wikipedia article about 
(german version http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marr-Hildreth-Operator)
or more general:

"The Marr–Hildreth edge detection method is simple and operates by 
convolving the image with the Laplacian of the Gaussian function"
