Forum: µC & Digital Electronics OmniVision cameras. Where to get sufficient documentation ?

I'm designing device based on ARM7 LPC2103 microcontroller and OV9650
camera.
I found that OmniVision datasheets are extremely wretched. Enough that
they are missing a lot of info, so they are full of ugly mistakes. I was
able to get some valid image only because of I learned other datasheets
and used camera register settings from rare examples and linux drivers.
Is there some manual, or other info, or somebody experience which gives
simply CORRECT description of registers ? To be specific, I want to get
CIF, QCIF and QQCIF resolutions in RGB555 format, good quality, and
achieve minimum motion blur at high framerate (exposure time settings, i
guess).

Afair:
- you get only personalized datasheets from o*
with your name printed as watermark on every page
- only after signing NDA
But then you will get a datasheet with more than 200 pages...

ask the manufacturer.

hth,
Joerg
