Hello,

I'm currently working on repairing my bike charger, the ORBEA Li-ion
Battery Charger (Model: BC299360040).
I’ve already found the fault and now need to replace the two blown
resistors. That’s where the problem is.
Does anyone know the values for R31 and R42, or even have the schematic?
Unfortunately, I haven’t found anything online, so I’m hoping that one
of you has already repaired this charger or has another idea.

Thanks a lot! :D

checking clock signals, reset timing, and power stability would be a good starting
point. Many embedded issues come from initialization problems rather than software
alone. Older digital designs using HEF4040BP discontinued stock
(https://www.ovaga.com/products/detail/hef4040bp) also require careful
verification during maintenance.

Looking at your photos, R31 and R42 appear badly burned, so I'd avoid
replacing them until the root cause is found. They may be current sense
or startup resistors, and something downstream could have shorted. If
someone has the same charger, measuring those resistors in circuit or
sharing a high resolution photo would probably be the quickest solution.
