Hi. In 2017 von Zdenek posted information about the HP 8590/8591E 
spectrum analyzers.

Yesterday I was given a good-looking HP 8591EM Analyzer.  The previous 
owner took out the battery so it has lost all its settings.  I also 
don't have any memory cards.  But the rest of the unit looks very good.

I will appreciate any information/files/ROM files that can help me get 
it calibrated again!!!

BEFORE I put in a new battery, it showed:
103 Demod
105 Gate Rev B
130 NBW
8591C   # 57089             <----
F/W 950914

AFTER I put in a new battery, it shows:
103 Demod/QPD
130 NBW
041 HPIB + Parallel
8591E   # 14765             <----
Firmware rev 950914

How/where do I start to restore the settings  (I downloaded all the 
manuals I could find).

The EEPROMS are labelled: 08590-80244...7  (AM27C020)
The CPU board is 08590-60365

Any help will be greatly appreciated.!!
