load independent speed control of a drill machine or angle grinder by a phase-fired controller

Hello!

I'm searching for a phase-fired controller that has an adjustable 
current feed-back or feed-forward to make it load independent. I want to 
use it for a drill machine, angle grinder, brushed AC motors and so on.

All schematics I found used obsolet parts like:
Temic U210B1
Atmel U2008B
Atmel U2010B

Does someone has a schematic to share for a discrete phase-fired 
controller with adjustable current feed-back or feed-forward and 
soft-start ?
