Dears,

does somebody have an idea, how I can transport 2 serial connections ( 2 
com ports served by 2 applications in a laptop) over one air interface 
and get them separated again at the other end into 2 separate 
microcontroller devices? Bluetooth doesn't do it.

hi,

whats about two 866 (433) Mhz Tx Transmitters and receivers.
One of them emitts at 866 (433) and the other at 867 (434) Mhz, so you 
have 500 khz "Bandwith" for each Channel-approximetly.
And whats about two different -software- protokolls?

any hint for affordable devices?? I guess you mean Xbee? or so??
For Xbee, I'm not sure, what PC device to use.

Hello Hans,

if you're interested in DIY, you can use two rfm12 modules in connection 
with benedikts RS232-RFM12 bridge.
