SPI connection to Vdrive2

Hi!

I’m working on a project with the Vdrive2 and tried to communicate with 
a PIC18f4550 via SPI. SPI is working correctly,
but it doesn’t work when i connect the Vdrive2(VNC1L).
With Hyperterminal it’s working correctly using the commands from the 
data sheet.
Vdrive is jumpered for SPI, baud rate should be correct, also the 
connection between microcontroller and Vdrive2.
