I wanted to know if the TI arm controllers are supported on the
yagarto-eclipse platform..

Anybody has any ideas regarding this topic.

If you mean the controllers with ARM7TDMI-core: they are supported by
the GNU toolchain so you can use Yagarto/Eclipse to create binary-code.
I do not know the state of the support in OpenOCD, you may check the
OpenOCD documentation.

I was particularly insterested in the TMS320DM335 controller.... (it has
an ARM9 core)

Both Yagarto and OpenOCD support ARM9, so you should be fine. But you
won't be able to program the flash on your controller (if there is any),
because the programming commands are not standardized.
