I also noted that there is a new arm-elf-gcc 4.2 binary distribution at
gnuarm.org , however it seems to have grown quite a bit: from 25.1 MB to
133 MB!

BTW: gcc 4.2 still lacks Cortex-M3 support. The patches made by
codesourcery are only included in the 4.3 branch. No lucks for who want
to program luminarymicros' chip under Mac OS X :-(
