Michael and me exchanged some e-mails in the past weeks and I'm informed
about most of his developments and I know his pages. Anyway, thanks for
the information. The next WinARM-releases may include some of his
modifications for OpenOCD and gdb. His gdb-Version will be available on
the Win-ARM page as "update/add-on" soon.

I hope that Dominic will modify his sources so OpenOCD can be build as
"native Win32"-application without cygwin-dll-dependancy from the
official source/SVN-tree (like i.e. done in avrdude which can be build
for different "unix"-targets and Win32 as "native" application). It
always a little time-consuming and error-prone to patch and test
modified builds. That's the reason why I currently provide the
cywin/ioperm-Version in WinARM which is build from the unmodified
sources although this may raise issues with various cygwin-dlls in the
system search-path
