Forum: µC & Digital Electronics Who knows Action AM7212 microcontroller

Hi,

is anybody out there in the community to own information about a chip
named AM7212 made by a company named 'action' ?
I found it working in a digital photo frame handling 800x600 LCD
graphics, USB and SD/MMC card. This makes it quite interesting if it
only was available for public and documented somewhere. I could not find
anything about the chip or the company in the net. Maybe, someone can
help.
Thanks in advance.

Hi there,

I'm also highly interested in this chip AM7212. The one I own has a big
"X" on processor plate. The card also obviously has a place for flash or
SDRAM. Found no outputs for JTAG. LCD 320x280. Also the card has a place
for audio output (but device has no audio option). I'm looking for any
technical description or kind of user guide - whatever. Help!

Alex

P.S. has a crazy guess - maybe this is one of XMOS processors (in regard
to that big "X")?
