Can anyone please tell me about what should be the states,control and 
status signals in the microwave oven ASMD

No it means algorithmic state design machine

Sounds to me like you want a FSM (finite state machine). So, its easy.
My microwave oven has two inputs: a start button and a stop button. 
And it has one output: the microwave tube. And as a result i have 2 
states: STOP and GO. The two buttons switch between the two states. 
Thats all.

Is your microwave oven more complex?
