Hello.

I have made a simple Header Board with AT91SAM7S Chip. I am trying to
enable RS232 SAM-BA with my SAM7S Header Board. I have a working MAX232
Board and I am interfacing that Board with SAM7S debug Interface.

My Connection is below presented:

VDDIN, VDDFLASH, VDDIO Connected Together ---> 3.3V
VDDOUT, VDDPLL, VDDCORE Connected Together ---> 4.7uF Cap ---> GND
PIN2 Ground --- GND
XTAL 18.432MHz Connected with XIN, XOUT (No Load Capacitor with XTAL)
MCU  DRXD (PIN29) ---> MAX232 RX & MCU  DTXD (PIN30) ---> MAX232 TX

I POWERED OFF my Board and Connect TST PIN with 3.3V then POWER ON for
10 Sec, then POWER OFF the Board, Disconnect TST PIN, then POWER the
Board again.

When I am running SAM-BA then it reports "Failed to Initialize FLASH
Accesses".

I am using SAM-BA v 2.10 (Downloaded from ATMel's web site), installed
on Windows XP SP2 .

Can anyone suggest me how to resolve the problem ...

Thanks in advance.

Regards.
Sakibnaz.

Hello.

Thanks for your reply.

My Header Board is of SAM7S64 and I am using USB-Serial Cable which is
installed as COM2. So I chooses on SAM-BA, COM2 and AT91SAM7S64-EK.

I am facing this error "Failed to Initialize FLASH Accesses" from few
days, please help me out ...

Awaiting for your reply.

Regards.
Sakibnaz.

Hello.

My Problem is solved. Now I can able to program the MCU via RS232 Debug
Interface. Using the SAM-BA version 2.9 I can access the Bootloader.

I am using a custom Header Board of AT91SAM7S.

Thanks.
