I could sure use some help with the SDHC response to CMD8.
Almost like I have hit a brick wall.
I am using an 8051 and usual connection via 74HCT circuit.
My software is all in AL so not of much value to anyone else.
My problem: It all works fine with some SDHC cards and fails with
others.
examples:

K <<<<<< 8GB Kingston SDHC

FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF

FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF
40 00 00 00 00 95 FF 01
48 00 00 01 AA 87 FF 05 FF FF FF FF << 0x05 reply says error with
something
K <<<<<< 32GB Sandisk

48 00 00 01 AA 87 FF C1 7F FF FF FF <<< 0xC1 ??? whats up?
K <<< 4GB Sandisk SDHC

48 00 00 01 AA 87 FF C1 7F FF FF FF <<< also 0xC1 ???
K <<<<< PNY 8GB SDHC

FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF

FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF
40 00 00 00 00 95 FF 01
48 00 00 01 AA 87 FF 01 00 00 01 AA <<< !!!! perfect

Any suggestions would sure be appreciated. If there is anything I could
share I'd be happy to.

Roger
