Forum: ARM programming with GCC/GNU tools usbprog as OpenOCD-adapter

Hi,

I'm going to buy a STM32-Devboard. But I'm still looking out for an
JTAG-Adapter, something cheap that'll work with OpenOCD / GDB.

I've got an usbprog already (used for AVR-programming). Can I use that
with the firmware available? With the AVR it was not really fun with
many errors and no support. Is the OpenOCD firmware usable, or is it
worth it to buy a ARM-JTAG-Tiny from Olimex?

I don't want to buy the devboard and then realise that the usbprog is
not really useable and then reorder (and pay shipping again).

greets,
Lasse
