I'm interested in using a micro to read and play sound files from a
file-server over a LAN. I know that HTTP, FTP, etc. code is readily
available for embedded applications. But, I'm not sure what this is even
called. Samba, NetBIOS? I spent some time searching the Internet but I'm
not even sure what to call it. Anyone know of source code that could be
used to read regular Windows-type shared drives, or any other ideas?
