Dear all,

I am new to ARM controller. we have Blank PCB for AT91RM9200. i wanted
to make this board up. now according to my knowledge to make the board
up i required J-TAG connector and some software utility to download hex
file from PC to Board.

so please can any body answer me following questions:
--> from where do i get J-TAG circuit's Schematic for AT91RM9200
controller so that i can made J-TAG at home?
--> from Where do i get free Software utility to download code from pc
to Board

on board, there is two SDRAM, MT48LC8M16A2 and a Flash Memory,
AT49BV6416.

If any body knows different method to download hex or bin or ...... file
from PC to Board please send me the link of explanation

please help me, i would be very much grateful to you

Hi

You can get a schematic here

http://www.olimex.com/dev/arm-jtag.html

or just type "jtag wiggler arm" in google. There are a plenty of sites
with schematics. That store sells the dongle for a very low cost (I
bought mine there and is working greate)

For programming there are several arm tool-chains like

http://www.siwawi.arubi.uni-kl.de/avr_projects/arm_projects/#winarm
www.gnuarm.com
www.gnuarm.org
www.yagarto.de

Also there is an evaluation ide and compiler from

www.keil.com

that is restricted to 16 KB of code

I hope it can help you =)

Hi,

Thank you very much for reply,

but still i have a problem. as you said j-tag schematic is available on
plenty of sites. i went through olimex and wiggler. i have two
schematics, in one schematic they use buffer 74HC244 and 9013 transistor
and in other AC244 and DTC114. Now how can I identify which J-tag will
be work with my AT91RM9200 ARM9 controller?

eventually i want Schemactic of J-TAG that can work with AT91RM9200
controller?
can both work with ARM9?
