Andreas tells me that lpc21isp doesn't work for the AT91SAM7 chip.

Is anyone aware of software (preferably free :) that can be used to
program this chip on OS X?

Yes, so far lpc21isp can only be used with the preinstalled bootloaders
from LPC2000 and ADuC7000 ARM7 controllers.

Maybe this is useful (from the at91.com-Forum):
http://www.pjrc.com/arm/sam7_pgm/
Seems to be made for Linux/Unix but may be compiled for a BSD-based
system like OS X too.
